My Recovery

I have been recovering from my schizophrenia for nine years now. My life is just wonderful because of my recovery. I love life and I love being alive. I now live a life of meaning and purpose. As a result of my recovery I am a productive member of society which I wasn't when I was still ill. On December 6 this year I will be clean and sober for ten years. That's another reason why life is so good today. I am experiencing a wonder recovery from my addiction and alcoholism. The turning point in an addicts recovery is when that relentless obsession to use is taken away. My obsession to use is completely gone. Recovery is truly possible for some consumers. Not all consumers have a good recovery. That is sad news for some. Despite this most consumers do experience a wonderful recovery. I believe that the majority of consumers do recover. I am just grateful and thankful that I am one of the majority that do recover. Good luck in your own recovery

Welcome to My Blog

I'm glad that you dropped by. I hope that you will find my blog interesting and helpful. The reason for this blog is that I want to help my fellow consumers, family members of consumers, and educate the general public for the purpose of removing some of the stigma and discrimination against those with schizophrenia.
